I must send a big thanks to John at Meineke Car Care Center. He finished the work as promised and even noted a couple other things that needed attention. One thing John did show me was where I had planned on putting the e-brake bracket, it would not have even worked before because of the sagging transmission. And now that the transmission is up where it should be, everything is lined up correctly. The parking/e-brake is coming up on the list pretty quickly.
After taking care of the paper work, I was off, down the road in My “quieter” 55 Chevy Bel Air. The ride seems so smooth now and less attracting due to excessive noise. But I don’t mind, I just love to drive it….
