Driving back from the car show tonight and the time had come to finally try out the windshield wipers. Glad I wired up the motor and put a wiper on just in case.
So as I’m driving, I have my headlights on, the radio playing and the wipers going. All of a sudden, the headlights start to go on and off. This is kind of scary in the rain, so I pull over, turn off the radio and stop the wipers. I turn the lights back on and start to drive. Everything seems OK now. I’m wondering if the radio, lights and wipers all on at the same time were drawing too much current? So much for new wiring = no problems, ha ha. Something new I have to investigate now.
